Although the reign of Miss Global is a year long, this remarkable Queen will travel throughout the world to participate in charitable fundraisers while promoting the beauty, intelligence, and charm of women worldwide. Miss Global is one of the largest pageants in the world focusing on embracing cultures and embodying the beauty within. Every year over 70 delegates from around the globe vie for the title of Miss Global with Australia placing in the Top 10 for the last four years with two Top 5 placings. Our winners have featured on the runways of New York Fashion Week, modelled for National and International brands, enjoyed global travel and worked with incredible charities using the power of beauty for a positive change in the world.
Lucinda brought Miss Global to Australia in 2014, crowing 6 Australian delegates, including Sophia Harris, Miss Global Australia 2017. Lucinda has since moved back to the UK and has handed the reigns to Sophia to continue the legacy she was creating.
In 2017, Sophia was crowned Miss Global Australia and went on to place in the Top 10 out of over 70 contestants in Cambodia, as well as walking away with three top placings in Evening Gown, Swimwear and Media. Since then Sophia has built a career working in the National and International modelling industry including working as a spokeswoman and ambassador for internationally renowned brands. With extensive knowledge of Miss Global and a passion for what Miss Global stands for she is excited to bring Miss Global Australia into this new era!
Requirements
1. Natural born female
2. Between the ages of 18 - 35
3. Must not be currently married or pregnant
4. Must be able to communicate in English
5. Must never have been arrested or convicted of any crime
6. Must have never modelled for any sexually explicit or
pornographic materials.
7. Must be committed to adhere to all the pageant rules and
regulations upon acceptance.
